RIP OFF
I took out a short term payday loan in november of 2012. I had to pay 190.00 back.I was told by a represenative that my payments would be 45.00 every two weeks until paid in full. As Janurary approached i thought my payments payments were at a close. Well to my surprise i still owed over 100.00 and on 1-18-13 they took 95.00 more and still saying i owe more. Montell Williams sponsers the crooked loansharks. I went to a website for pissed consumers and saw that i'm not the only person getting screwed. Help me.

DO NOT USE THIS LENDER. I was SCREWED by these shysters
I took out a six hundred and fifty dollar ($650.00) loan from these crooks and ended up repaying over $2,500.00 for that payday loan. I found myself in need, and these folks were more than happy to take advantage of it. Had I not reviewed my payment history, I never would have known they were bleeding me dry. That $2,500.00 figure would only have grown, as they NEVER seek a payoff, rather only seeking to satisfy their "fees." I will never again use this lender, and can only advise you that you avoid them as well.

Abusive
I wished I had done a iquiry with AMERILOAN. I saved a letter that came through my mail about cash advance loan. So I called the number and instructed me to go online to apply. I requested for a $400 loan. I checked off the agreement and I get paid bi-weekly. The first 2 pay period was $120.00 and then $520.00 on the next pay day. Ok, they taken out the $520.00 on Friday then the next day they replaced $400.00 back into my account and then today they took it out again and there are no funds in my accounts. Therefore I have a $35.00 overdraft fee. I called my bank to file the complaint and they told me to close my account asap. After reading many consumers complaints I'm going to put an end to this early. No matter how desperate I get I will never ever do this again!

Reporter looking for Ameriloan customers
Hi, I am a reporter in Oklahoma who is trying to contact Ameriloan customers about the company. I am especially interested in talking with people who have done business with the company in the past month. Please call Brianna at 405-475-****. I want to hear your stories. The company is owned by an Indian tribe in Oklahoma. you can also e-mail me at bbailey@***.com . Has Ameriloan taken money out of your bank account? Has the company missrepresented its repayment payment schedule? Have they threatened you with a law suit or arrest for nonpayment? I want to hear about it.

Over charged interist rate
In June of 2012 There was a death in my family, in Michigan. I needed some cash to get there. I barowed $300.00. Thank the Lord for the money. That has been 10 months ago. for the first4 months after that they took $900.00 out of my account. Thinking that the loan was paid off. I sent them a thank you note. lol They replied to me telling me that I still owed them $300.00 that the $90.00 that they had taken out (for 4 months) was just to renew the loan... as of today April 3 2013 I have paid Ameriloan back,(are you ready for this)$975.00 This is not what the contract stated on paying this $300.00 back at all. They have really put a big hurting on me, I am disabled, living on a fixed income an this company is doing this to people like me. Do NOT use AMERILOAN They will use you up.

Don't just complain, do something!!! It's easy
All states have a department of financial institutions. All lenders lending in that state are to be licensed to do business in that state. Many states have laws that state if these or any payday loan companies are not licensed in that state, THEY CAN'T COLLECT ANY LOAN THEY HAVE MADE IN THAT STATE! It also states in most cases, that not only they can't collect that loan, they can't harass you. Instead of just ranting and raving about how ignorant you all are, turn that ignorance qinto some research that is easy to do on the net regarding the laws where you live!! When you find the law, search to see if the company is licensed in that state, most aren't. And they know you don't know this. Wise up!!! And do some work. Good luck

I need Help
I got a 300 loan out, I have been doing the normal 60 bucks a month until I could pay it off in full. Then suddenly in stopped, a few weeks later they took out 100 at an unscheduled time. Now they call me from various numbers, and various names saying that they are a sheriffs department and that I need to pay them off or face jail time. I have the money to pay them off but they are asking me to mail it in, all at once. I just need advice on what do I do, who do I talk to!? Thanks!

$500 Xmas Advance = $1445+
u·su·ry (yzh-r) n. pl. u·su·ries 1. The practice of lending money and charging the borrower interest, especially at an exorbitant or illegally high rate. 2. An excessive or illegally high rate of interest charged on borrowed money. 3. Archaic Interest charged or paid on a loan. [Middle English, from Medieval Latin sria, alteration of Latin sra, from sus, use; see Ameriloan.] Emotional about holidays and did not read documents thoroughly. My ***, I know. But my $500 loan taken out before Christmas keeps getting larger and larger -- providing that they don't keep adding additional fees, I have paid $870 so far, and the stated "pay in full" amount is $585 -- that's $1445 total. Again, my fault, but states have laws against this kind of usury. Why doesn't my state? Can I join a class action lawsuit? Is there one?

THE WORST LENDERS EVER!!!
First off this company customer services is very disgusting (red flag), however the loan amount that you take out, please do add another $100 plus more towards that loan. Needless to say I took out a loan from this company twice the first time they was very polite and the customer service rep explain to me my payment option and etc. ,at that time I didn't feel rob. So I insist to take another loan with them around Christmas just for extra funds for present. My loan was for $150.00 plus $45.00,Each week you pay a total of $45.00 however I was happy to be on my 5th payment I thought i was paying this loan off but when I check my loan status balance it report $195.00 and my next payment is $95.00, I was disappointed. When call to find out what the reason for this, they didn't have an soiled answer. I immdelaty ask to speak to supervisor because the rep was screaming at me and he didn't have solider answer I know longer want to speak to him, so the supervisor advice me to just pay off full balance to avoid any more problems. This company should be shut down, they are a scam and ripp off. All you doing is paying the bank for nothing and your Last couple of payment is when you actually paying off your loan. I ADVICE TO GO ESLEWHERE, THEY NOT WORTH IT!!! (Hope this make sense I'm writing with angry)

Ripped off
This company gave me a loan for $305.00. I agreed to repay a $90.00 finance fee plus the amount of the loan. Some other company stated to draft money from my account. I called Ameriloan. Told them to stop taking money from my account. Until i straighten out the other issue. And I would mail them the money. So what do, they do continue to attempt to draft money from my account. Now I am stuck with a $600.00 over draft balance with my bank and they still want another $575.00. After getting $240.00 from my account.

300.00 loan
This company is very very bad. I was desperate and I got a $300.00 loan from them in september. I have been paying that loan since october 2012. They told me I still owe more. They made a 300.00 loan into close to 1000.00 loan. I advise people dont do business with them. This company takes advantage of people in need. I wish I could fight them. Now I am more in desperate situation than I was last year because they are taking a big chunk from my income. Ameriloan is a company that scam people. Ameriloan does not help people, they scam and take advantage of them. Please Iadvice you all dont do business with them go to ligimate lending company.

Do NOT Trust this Company
Whatever you do! do NOT deal with Ameriloan! They are a rip off loan company that does not disclose the entire truth upon applying for and obtaining a loan with them! And even if you are able to pay them off - down the road they will call you and "pretend" that you have an existing loan with them! AND BEWARE of emails from them. If you were unfortunate enough to get scammed by them; and were forturnate enough to FINALLY pay them OFF. do NOT ever deal with them again and delete any and all emails from them and do not accept any phone calls from them. Also WARNING THEY ARE RUDE AND will not divuldge who THEY are until YOU tell them who YOU ARE!! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!

AMERILOAN IS A RIP-OFF! DO NOT USE, EVER!
On an original $350.00 loan, and (4) payments of $105.00, only now will I be paying toward my principal, sort of. My current balance is $455.00. So as I have been paying more than $200.00 per month, my principal balance has been going UP instead of DOWN. I am currently scheduled to pay $105.00 + $50.00 toward my principal. At this rate, it will be a very distant goal to pay these people off. I WISH I HAD NEVER DONE ANY BUSINESS WITH AMERILOAN. This does not seem to be on the up and up.. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES - EVER.

I know this is a bit of an old thread but I had to chime in here.
these are NOT deceptive practices, they are *** for sure but NOT deceptive. deceptive would mean that they were trying to hide the actual fees which they CAN"T by law or she could sue them.
she, unlike MANY MANY others get taken in by the quick loans without reading fully into how the repayments work and how much they will owe in interest.
I learned this the hard way so I can say from experience. that being said you could close your account as the other person suggested then deal with the risk/consequences of doing so as they could then take you to court/sue for the amount still owed and claim you're trying to avoid a valid debt.
I have a solution to your problem close your accounts, so there aren't able to debit you any more due to deceptive practices
