Your involved in a scam that is not ameriloan you need to make a police report. Ameriloan does not call threaten people. Its a 3rd party that is getting your info from the website that you sign up for a loan or where you try to sign up for a loan. Contact the police

I have gotten calls from these people as well.At first I was confused and a little scared.

When I finally figured out they were full of it I started cursing at them and telling them not to call me. I got several more calls back to back with voicemails calling me a wh**e and a bi**h.

I finally changed my number and did not hear from them again.I don't think Ameriloan is involved because they have my new number and I have not gotten anymore of the calls.

Do not worry about that company. They were also calling me saying that I owe money from a payday loan...however lol i never took out a loan, at that point i had only applied for a loan years ago and was denied. They are frauds, and also NOT related to Ameriloan (i dont believe). I have made reports about them as well. They frequently call my job harrassing me and even to the secretary (i am an elementary school teacher). They have said they were the FBI, police, going to arrest me in front of my kids, could go to jail for many years, what a horrible person i am, senior affadavid bullsh*t. Basically this is what i suggest (since i have been going thru this very similar story):

1. make a report using SSG Standly's suggestion

2. let your employer and anyone who was a reference on your application, know that they are people that hacked into an unsecure website that you went to.

3. Get a little creative with the situation. Yes it sucks. These people have my ss#, IP address etc etc BUT i have been dealing with these same people for over a year and i have not had any actual problems (besides rude phone calls and bottomless threats) with them. So... when they do call, i try my best to *** them off by letting them know that they are fake! The secretary at my schools (married to retired policeman) blows a police whistle in the phone whenever they call hehehe :) Its the small...

4. Keep in touch with any payday loan companies that you have ever used. They will be more than happy to check and make sure you actually dont owe them money lol. Once they realize that you don't, they are very helpful with the Indian Fraud situation.

5. Make sure you have a security block on your SS#. This will ensure that no one can use your SS# without going thru a verification process.

6. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY. I know someone that did (many people are being called), and they wiped their bank account clean. There was nothing that could be done since he gave them authorization to take money out (thinking they would leave him alone). DON"T GIVE THEM ANY MONEY.

7. Do not verify any of your information to them. Not your name, bank account, email, ip address, phone, address, work number....NOTHING. Trust me on this one :)

good luck! Hope this helps, but just relax about it as much as you can, and refer back to tip number 3 (they are amusing to listen to them get all worked up lol).

the calls from police are acctually scammers they are calling from india and they are false they are being investigated by the department of homeland security and the FTC so if u continue to get calls from the supposed police officers call the FTC and your state attorney generals office.are they saying they are from the legal affidavit processing unit.

KNOW MY RIGHTS

What they are doing is illegal and against fair debt collection regulations. They can not have the cops come and arrest you.

This is just they're way to bully people into giving them more money. Getting a payday loan and not paying it all back is not fraud or a felony. No one will come to arrest you. The worst thing that can happen is you will be served papers to go to court (civil court, not criminal court)to sue you.

If that happens, you can ask the judge to allow a payment arrangement that you can afford (unless you don't show up, then they can garnish your wages). It's most likely that they will not take you to court, because they are trying to get money illegally and they are charging more than is allowed by most states in interest charges.

Don't be scared--research your right and/or call a lawyer for a free consultation. You won't beleive it when you find out what these people try to do to get money.

Tell them not to call and file

Ameriloan is breaking the law.You tell the creditor not to call you and by law they are not allowed to continue.

You should record the calls and report it to your local police. Those people sound like loansharks.
